LC-HRMS LAB
This lab houses both LCMS-QToF & Semi-preparative HPLC with a fraction collector and nitrogen gas generator. This area is intended for analytical sample testing only.
SAMPLE PREPARATION LAB
Preparation lab houses many equipments such as a parallel reaction station, laminar clean bench, sonicator, lyophilizer, vacuum concentrator, high-speed refrigerated centrifuge & ultra-pure (Type-1) water purifier. Other equipment such as particle size analyser, RTPCR also available in this lab. This area is intended for Biosafety Level 1 (BSL-1) work including sample preparation for metabolomics study, plasma collection, DNA extractions, PCR setup, DNA amplification etc.
SAMPLE STORAGE AREA
The sample storage area houses many storage equipment such as ultra-low temperature freezer, high volume cold storage cabinets, ambient temperature cabinet and racks for important documents. Two High precision semi-micro balances are also present inside this area.
PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATOR (PI) OFFICE
The office of the principal investigator is situated on the premises and within the laboratory to facilitate close oversight of work activities and manage access control effectively. The principal investigator possesses an unimpeded line of sight to both the access portal and the surveillance monitor. The principal investigator is consistently present on-site or can be contacted via a dedicated telephone hotline.
